Hello, i am finally getting around to swapping out the generic 40mm clone i have on my setup (which is blown) to a Authentic Tial 40mm gate.
the package contains the Gate, and 2 rings, one big and one small, after some research I have established the larger ring fits into the Inlet side of the gate, but doesnt seat flush (called the valve seat?)
RRE claims the tial 40mm uses no gaskets, so Am i supposed to just stick the ring in there, and tighten it down, assuming it will push the Piston In and create a Tight seal?
and what of the smaller ring, the Outlet side has to space to insert it like the inlet side did.
The knockoff on there now, uses gaskets to mount.
Thanks.
Adam
Edit: the Flanges on Tialsport.com Have a identical Lip machined into them, to accomodate the Lower of the valve seat? since my flanges dont have this, should i just use the gaskets I am using on the knockoff, and leave out the valve seat?
