tial 38mm external wastegate ports - no boost controller

At the moment, I don't have a boost controller, do I leave both ports on the wastegate open or do I connect the side port to a vacuum source from the intake manifold?

Side port of the wastegate to a direct boost source.. Top port is left open. Whichever turbo you're running should have a pressure source nipple either on the compressor housing or maybe yours is on the IC piping. Closest to the turbo is best.

Running the side port to a boost source will let you run whatever the spring pressure is in your wastegate. If/when you are to hook up a MBC you would run one side of the MBC to the side wastegate port and the other side of the MBC to the boost source.

Remember don't let the vacuum lines touch anything. My vacuum line burned off and before i knew it i was running 30lbs of boost
