Throwing a Turbo kit on 99 rs Info needed.

Im going to put a turbo kit on my 99 eclipse rs. I wanted some advice [ only to those of you that have done it or Personally know someone, not what you heard please, to much hear say], 3 companys:

1) Star Stage 2
2) HRC Stage 2
3) Turbo Specialties Extreme

What would be the best choice. and Can this be done by myself? I dont want to pay 700$ for someone to do it. And 1 kit doesnt come with a fuel pump, Would pump would be the best to get and any other mod's that would help that the kit doesnt come with>
Main QUESTION can i do this without bringing my car in?

I had the HRC kit. I bought a stage 2 kit and loved it. I cant compare it to the others. I had a shop install it. But it came with detailed instruction if you are mechanically inclined then you can do it. the shop that did mine didnt charge for the install. Only bad thing is on the injectors are pretty much at 100 duty cycle. I wish it came with bigger injectors. They may have changed it since I bought mine a few years back. My Avenger is on there cutomer car page. Great tech support and where very helpfull when I went up to the stage 4 kit always there to answer my q.... Well hope this helps...


ps try the 2gnt.com guys there are alot of turbo 420a running around you can even check www.asog.net(avenger/sebring) same 4cy motor. those are dedictaed 420a sites

unless you are related to the owner of the shop I don't beleive that. Basically you are telling us you took your car and turbo kit to a garage and they spent a few hours installing it for free. Something doesn't add up

I spent a grip load of money there, and made him alot of money and he took almost 2 1/2 months to finish my car. He kept pushing it off to finish up 2 Supras. So he said he wouldnt charge me. So I said fine with me. No charge but no car for most of the summer...
