I don't understand why it's happening. When the throttle plate closes, the cable falls off the guide. I tried adjusting it with the 2 bolts on the manifold, but when I pull some of the cable back, DSMLink reads like 3-5% throttle.
Any ideas?

The ball is in there like it's supposed to be, the cable goes into the slit along with the ball.
It's the part of the cable that goes along the bracket which falls out, like if i do full WOT the bracket moves and causes the cable to get a bit "loose" and when the bracket returns back to normal, sometimes the cable slips off of it, and causes major slack in the throttle cable which obviously causes little to no feel in the gas pedal.
If what I wrote above makes no sense, i'll be glad to rewrite it in my best effort to make sense.
Also, dsmlink reads TPS to be at 32 and RAWThrot to be 0%.

There should be just a smidgin of slack when closed (wiggle the wire with fingers), but when at WOT there shouldnt be any slack in the cable to let it fall off. It almost sounds like it isnt lined straight up. Look at the bracket holding the cable to the manifold. Make sure it isnt bent and that it isnt pushed away or to close.

Hmmm, that's weird. May sound dumb, but make sure the bracket is fully tightened to the back of the intake manifold. Care to take a picture, because it's kind of confusing as to where the line slips out of the bracket.

Ohh nono, the line slips off the ear shaped bracket on the throttle body.

I have the same problem, its random. I think its if you dont have enough spring tension it doesnt pull back with the force needed to keep it tight. Have you ever taken off the throttle body, if you have, take it back off and you need to thread the spring on and make sure you wound the spring up REALLY tight.

As a matter of fact, I just put my throttlebody back on yesterday, but I've been having this problem ever since i bought the car... good info I'll check it out.:thumb:
