Hey so im in the process of replacing my tb shaft seals, as they were toast. Now upon reinstall it seems the shaft is to short to have both seals sit flush. You can get it to go in with both flush but not so that the holes for the plate will line up properly. Im using delectric grease so it is lubed up, but yet its still kicking my ass. Any help or info/ tricks would be awesome.

Well I replied not to sure what happened but whatever.
I have both seals seated, the shaft inserted correctly, the problem is the shaft cannot go far enough to one side to allow the plate to be aligned. In order to align it I try tapping with rubberback of a screwdriver, but it pops out the seal on the other sie. Im using delectric grease and trying to spin theshaft into postion with no luck. I cannotpost a picture now but will when I can.

So you're just having trouble seating the shaft fully while keeping the spring side seal in? If so, you'll have to just keep trying. Maybe try and find a socket that is the same size as the seal and press on the seal while pushing the shaft through. You have the right idea with trying to twist it through and not pushing straight in. I have run into this problem a few times as well, and I just kept trying to press on the seal while push the shaft through.

Found a deep 10mm socket and hammered it into place, I have 2 questions tho.
1. I got everythng to line up when I move the shaft to open the plate it takes a little more effort then without the seals (this is to be expected correct? Maybe its jut not as smooth as I have invisioned). Is that normal?
2. Now that the seals are in and everything is clean is it a good idea to put red locktite on it so I never have to worry about the new screws fallin out?
