I read this in the tech section under step 0 last night and was curious-
Step 7: Verify that WOT is 100%
With the car turned off, have someone sit in the car and floor the gas pedal, and then check to see if you can rotate the throttle plate any more by hand. If you can, it could be due to the cable being out of adjustment (adjust on the back of the intake manifold, 2 bolts) or something like a floor mat keeping the pedal from going all the way down. Fix this.
When I had my friend sit in the car last night i moved my floor mat to make sure it wasnt in the way i looked under hood to check the throttle line, and i dont know whether it was bad or normal from the looks of it.
When the pedal is to the floor inside the throttle moves all around, then has about .5-1 inch left before it would come close to hitting the metal tab that i suppose is there to stop it.
Am i only getting 80% throttle sicne its not rotating all the way around? If this is bad should i adjust it, and how?
TIA
