Thoughts on PTE 60-1 with stage5 wheel?

This is a bolt on turbo using a mitsubishi o2 housing. http://www.slowboyracing.com/more.php?id=2210& My goals are over 500 whp. Will this turbo be good for years of track abuse and ocasional street driving on piss gas? And will there be a need for a external gate or can I get by with the internal one? I think it is 38mm. Is this what I need or is there somthing better. I am not woried too much about lag, just reliability and performance. I only want to run about 22psi on piss gas and mabey 22-25 on race gas.

Based on your criteria this turbo will serve you well then. I would always go with an external gate however, the internal just doens't cut it when you start to make big numbers. 500 is over what you would want with an internal gate. An 02 housing mounted Tial 38 will work a lot better for you.
