Thoughts and Reactions for TD05 20g

I just purchased a td05 20g turbo and hoping to install the bad boy soon I was hoping to get some input from people who have ran this turbo about the good and bad about the turbo and how they like it. I have 272 cams, 3" exhaust, 2.5" I/C piping and greddy FMIC, and all supporting fuel mods. the car will be a DD at 10psi and a track runner at 28psi hopefully.

Don't waste your time at 10psi with a 20G. Dial the car for 25-28psi and leave it there....it sure saves a lot of screwing around. You're not going to blow it up by running high boost daily if you have a good tune and plenty of supporting mods.

The TD05H 20G is my favorite turbo for any street-driven DSM. No other turbo spools as quick and has the same reliability while making 42+lb/min of airflow.

I had a td05h 20g on my car for a while at 30psi and loved it. It was a lot off fun! full boost by like 3800 and great torque. dsmlink read a 1.82 70-90 time on pump gas which "should" be good for 120-125 trap speed Never got to run it at the track at 30psi though. And like jusmx141 said dont bother with 10psi, just dial it in correctly at high boost and call it a day. You will be much happier.

I am running the td05 ,20g ,@18psi and it spools great car pulles hard . now my buddy runs the 20g,td06 and that turbo pulls harder than mine .he is at full boost @3200rpm with a built head and motor and 258 comp cam,s . you will be very happy with this turbo .
