Finally, finally joined the money pit
and bought myself a DSM a couple months ago. It's a black 1995 GSX with a 6 bolt motor. I've always wanted one ever since I was in my early teens, 12 years later I finally have one and it's going to be with me for a long time. I have no big plans for this car at the moment, maybe some suspension work at most because it's my daily driver. Future wise I do, a nice power street setup. Right now, I'm happy just owning it
In terms of modification goes if people are wondering here's the list(best of my knowledge):
6 bolt
14b at 18psi, spikes around 20psi no knock
450cc 1g injectors
255lb fuel pump with fuel pressure regulator and gauge
Stock SMIC
Dejon 2.5" Upper and Lower IC pipe with 3" mass and Maf translator
2.25"? J pipe
2.5" to 3" downpipe no cat (not sure what brand)
3" Apexi N1 exhaust
2600lb ACT Clutch
DSM Link V2
And a nice kick ass sound system
The previous owner never ran it at the track but the owner before him did, the car ran a 13.4 to his knowledge. I'm guessing it "should" comparing driving experiences to my previous car which is a high 13 low 14 sec 01' Grand Prix GTP that traps 99-100mph with just a couple bolt ons. I'll know by next spring ": )
