So heres the deal guys... Ive been running SD on my modded car for so long that Ive forgotten what Im supposed to see on a BONE STOCK car... I picked up a bone stock laser and it starts then quickly dies. Im just trying to get it running to sell and Its running rich. Spark and Compression check out good. I put my Link ecu in it and took a log but nothing really sticks out to me... The MAF seems a bit high cause if I remember right it should be 40ish HZ at idle, the AFRest is obviously pig rich... so its something electronic I think... HELP ME OUT HERE! I know this sounds like a noob question and Im totally not I just have never messed with a stock maf stock car. If I unplug the maf to try and get it in limp in mode it doesnt help. If I unplug the UICP it will run on starting fluid well.
BTW I just quickly changed all of my settings in link to get this to run so I realise the DA tables and what not might look a little weird.
It does show a knock sensor DTC

Click the 2nd log sorry about the 1st

The wideband is wired to the baro input and the GM IAT is wired to the Intake temp input. Both inputs are used to control a MAF system. Have you tried locking the intake temp and baro (located on the ECU Inputs page)?

IAT/BARO Notes:

you can NOT log an aftermarket sensor on these inputs if you are running a Mitsubishi style mass airflow sensor (1G DSM, 2G DSM, EVO8).

EDIT: Ah, just re-read your post. So, link is modded, the car is not. Reset to stock config settings (at bottom of page):

Also, reset direct access back to stock.

Tried that same thing. It runs this same way on its stock ecu, I just hooked up link cause I didnt have a scanner and wanted to get a better idea of what was going on. Also I tried leaning it out with either maf or fuel settings and the AFRest just drops more and run the same... I saw 3.5:1! Its gotta be some parameter thats telling it to run so rich...Maybe an incoming temp sensor going to the ecu??

I suggest posting a log with the default ecu configuration, this way we can rule out any whacky settings (I know the car has issues either way), it just doesn't make much sense to ask for log help when you know things were improperly and randomly adjusted. If you can, log the ISC too...
