ok after i installed myhard intake, 2g maf and aem wideband in my car it started to surge, it didnt bother me to much till i was able to a boost leak test or maybe if anyone has any input that it might be the 2g maf or the o2 sensor please say something, i changed the setting in dsmlink for the sensor also but anyways back to the car being weird. When i would hit boost i would pretty much hit knock and last night for some reason i turned my fan on the first setting and the frost button for the ac i pressed it in twice and all that maggically disapeared, the surge the knock everything was gone, i was boosting great my air/fuel ratio was a little rich but i was still happy with where it was at. Can anyone tell me why everything was just fixed by me turning my fan for inside my car on and pressing the frost button on my car on? they both have to be on i was messing with it last night, i would turn the fan off and leave the button pressed in all the way then i would start to surge and i would run alot richer then i would do the oppisite and have the frost button all the way out and the fans on and it would surge and run rich but if i had both on it ran pretty amazing, i mean i dont mind with leaving both on to have my car run great but i was wondering why this is. Thank you in advanced for your comments and if any more info is needed i will post as much as possible. Id post a log but my tuning laptop is MIA and have no clue where it is

When you swaped to the 2g MAF did you retune? That maf flow a lot more the the stock 1g. What size injectors are you running?

yeah my tune was is for a 2g maf and im running 950cc injectors

only thing i can think is that with your fan and defrost on your putting a load on the motor, Find you laptop and post a log,

would that cause me to stop having knock when i boost? and no more surging?
