okay guys here;s the deal

u guys know the 2 14mm bolts that hold the mounting brakcet onto the hub? well the head on the top one broke.
is the hub threaded? if not i may still be able to slide it off the hub and throw away the caliper mounting bracket with the broken threaded bolt in it still....

anyone know?? argh this blows :mad: :mad: :mad:
 
Yes, that is the way it would be. The bolt would be broken in the carrier.

Be carefull about the replacement tho...I think some of the early 90's had a standalone interchange....

thanks for the info...hopefully it'll slide right out of the hub cause its not threaded.

As for the other thread I shall close it right after i take out my old caliper+rotor and take pics. I will then edit that post with those last pics i take to show everyone what carnage bad rotor and caliper installations will do. I will then close it thereafter.
