Ok so I sold the 2g and bought a 1g. in the mean time I have been putting part after part on. Well I ran into a problem last night. THe mods so far go like this: Dejon race fmic with gm mas in blow through set up. dejon intake, greddy profec b spec 2, safc 2, walbro 255, 780cc injectors from dejon, arp headstuds, new hedgasket. I think thats it. So I hit fuel cut. the whole plan was to put in the larger injectors and just run negative correction through out to push the fuel cut back. well we installed everything and car was running ok but still wasn't right. So I didn't have a logger and was waiting to borrow my friends before I started changing the settings on the maft and safc. but I figured I would just turn one know down a little and thats when everything got messed up. car wont even keep up with traffic last night. So I just took it home. went and got the logger from my friend today and went to go mess with it and the car wouldn't start. It cranks, fires a few times, then dies. then just cranks and cranks and cranks. So I started looking around. Oh and on the logger while I am cranking it it shows the injectors pulsing at 11.5 to 12 milli seconds. I pulled the injectors. they where a little wet and black. So I put the stock 450's back in. still nothing. pulled off the return hose from the fpr and no fuel came out. cranked with hose off. no fuel came out. did the fuel pump test with the pocket logger and the fuel pump came on but no fuel came out of the fpr with the return hose disconnected. so I took off the fpr and did the test with the logger again. pump came on and fuel poured out of the rail. good so I put the fpr back on. seems like it's frozen shut. still no fuel coming out of the fpr while cranking or doing the test. so I check spark just to make sure. yes I have spark. my question is. was the fpr overloaded by the bro? anyone have any other suggestions as to why it won't fire up. All the settings on the afc and the translater are at zero so nothing is correcting but it just cranks and cranks and cranks. Thanks for the help, Kevin. Remember this is for a 1g. the 2g in my signature is no more.

If you use a 3" maf try setting your maft to 3.5, it seems to help a lot....

Are you using a AFPR ? or the stocky..

I am using the stock fpr. I will try setting it to 3.5. I don't understand why that would make a difference though. Went and messed with it again today and it just cranks and like fires up for like half a second then dies. then when I crank it over again it just cranks and cranks. but if I let it sit it will fire up right away for like half a second then just keep cranking. This is really starting to piss me off. Thanks for the suggestions though

so you're getting no fuel to the injectors/engine with the fpr on, but you are with it off? soved your problem yet? maybe its the fpr? dont know how u could burn up a fpr, but its a dsm, what else is new?

no I get fuel to the rail and everything but no fuel comes out of the regulator. I agree that I do need a afpr but wouldn't my car still start with the stocker?

There where no codes when I checked with the logger. The MAFT is brand new and so is the MAF which I got from Dejon.

I dunno dude I still think you should try swapping to a different FPR. I think you might be right in that the FPR could be stuck shut and all the pressure in the rail is forcing its way out the injectors thus flooding the car.

Ok check this out. I had some friends come over and help troubleshoot the 1g. We found that even after running the pump like crazy through the logger for like 5 minutes we then pulled off the fpr on the rail and no fuel squirted out. in other words I am not building pressure some how or lossing fuel pressure very fast. But with the fpr off or the fuel line off the rail or off the filter and the fuel pump powered up fuel just pours out. But I am not building pressure. I am going to order a fuel pressure gauge and see what that says. I cannot see any leaks anywhere or smell any. I think I threw the stock fuel pump away so I can't switch back I would have to go buy one. Any other ideas about why I would misteriously be losing fuel pressure or not building it? Seems really wierd to me.

my car wouldn't start the other day. changed the stock fpr and it started. i got a 255 with stock fpr. i just ordered an AFPR. I hate fuel cut. I thought 1g ecu couldn't have bigger then 680's without a stand alone or eprom ecu with a 680 chip.

the other day my car wouldn't start. swaped ecu's with my buddy, and it started right up. My ecu caps leaked and burnt up. so i soddered new caps in, car runs 12's again. :thumb:

mine was doing the same this and i pulled the pump and saw that the rubber O-ring slipped down and wasnt seated in the pipe. which was cause it to just drain the fuel back in the tank. when it didnt fall all the way out it would only let me see 25psi worth of fp even with the fpr turned all the way down.

Whoops I forgot I even started this thread. I guess I shoulda posted what that problem was. And it was EXACTLY what happend to civic killer. :thumb:
