you know, as sad as that sounds i would totally go LOL

got my 1g started after the 1.6 head 272s and 16g. VERY happy with this setup. at only 7 psi i love it and i will be tuning for 15 psi when i get everything wired up

got my boost controller operating for once and pegged my 45psi boost gauge, it was nice for a second. She took it like a champ but I am only looking for 35psi. As much as I dont want to I must turn it down

installed southbend clutch..

got a flywheel from banishedmunk only to find out after getting it resurfaced, and installed, that it was a FWD flywheels and too big for the awd trans LOL... had to pull it back out and put the stock one back in, it didnt look bad at least, no cracks at all but there were a few heat rashes here and there.

have to put a 1g slave back in the car, as much as i like the lower pedal pressure, i have to put it 1 thread past. where the slave will return in order to get the clutch to disenguage.

overall new cluch holds like a f@cking champ. pedal pressure feels identical to the CFDF clutch... oddly they were both also stamped with the same markings in the face of the wheel... dunno if its something that all clutch's have or not but thought it was interesting anyway.

it was worth a shot

burnt out most of the the rubber from the rear end, Corey do i need to burn out the rear end pumkin bushings for the Hanna Montana mounts? i think i got cancer from breathing that shyt in.
Yep.
it was worth a shot
Hah. You know the tooth count on a FWD flywheel is different than the AWD, being that you're a Marine, though, I'm not sure you can count to 100 to check. ;)
FWD - 110
AWD - 106
Or you can install it and check, whichever's easier. ROFL

ouch, low blow low blow... LOL

none of us noticed. sadly until like i said After getting it close to installed.

munk thought it was the one from his car, we all assumed every thing was fine. Oh well. new clutch is in, new slave is in, need to get a SS braided line to replace the soft lines... mine is damaged and i think its starting to give out finally.

Trans still grinds after getting warm ( which could possibly be the line bellowing out after it's warm ) who knows. if i don't find out what is wrong within a couple more mods... i'm just going to ignore it and beat the piss out of the trans as if " Every thing is fine "

thats the way uh huh uh huh i like it

Not my car but I still did work on it.

I have been working on a 95 gsx with 78K on he odometer that is with its original owner. I just replaced the timing belt, balance shaft belt, all pulleys, and water pump. since the car has been sitting for a VERY long time it is getting the rock star treatment. all new fluids all new belts new filter and new pcv valve. It is also getting a nice set of evo8 enkeis. with it sitting for so long the fuel in the tank had laquered so it was completely drained all the hangars were pulled and sand blasted, then treated to prevent corrosion. today it will be getting a full coolant system flush and then it is road worthy again.

that's my car, and it is alive!
We actually drove the thing today and it felt pretty darn good.
Kris did a first class job on it. I highly recommend his services.

Now I just need to find that damn lug lock key thingy and get those jacked up rims and tires off the thing and get the rotors turned. Then off to smog and pray she passes....then body and paint then headliner and new stereo and then and then and then and then.........

I would like to thank Corey as well, he was instrumental in helping resurrect this thing. :thumb:

If those wheel locks are OE from the dealership, which I'm fairly certain yours are, you can go to any Mitsu parts department and buy one for $20. I broke mine in the past and apparently Mitsu only uses 6 different combinations of wheel locks, they just walk out there with the set and try all of them until they find one that fits.

The guys at Discount Tire (Mira Mesa) were nice enough to use the socket technique and removed the old rims and balanced and installed the new (used) Enkies for $45.00.
I was pretty stoked.

It also passed smog!
I am officially legal.

quick cell phone pic...almost ready for paint!

thanks man, that pic is a little deceiving since you cannot see all the clear coat rot :) But I have a new 2gb front bumper and headlights and once all the maintenance is done and mechanical bugs worked I will send it in for paint and new tint and she will be looking good for real.

Things I did today.
I painted my rims.
I wanted a different look.
Just need tires now haha.
