thermostat housing to side of head gasket

well i went to my local parts stores they dont have the gasket for the thermo housing to the head i know if it comes down to it rtv "grey" will work just fine but everyone is saying even oem there wasnt a gasket it calls for rtv but i still have my original broken in 2 gasket with the three holes so does anyone know where i could get another one of these? if not rtv it is

any ideas who? everyone just keeps telling me all they have is a thermostat gasket and they dont make a gasket for there it was rtv to start with but i have the old paper gasket or whats left of it to show there at 1 time was one

That works very well but you don't want it getting sucked into the system so be very careful. Here is your gasket.

well if you have a gasket and dont use it "thanks for the offer" and gsturbo knows where to get one and also doesnt use it i guess no point in me using one either that permatex right stuff i seen a vid on youtube a lil bit ago and it looked very good the vid said it was tested for 5 million miles no leaks......but how much is it for a tube of it either of you know?

I HAVE used RTV before. I always try to use a gasket where it is recommended by the dealer.

I swear by Right Stuff...

I always use it even with a gasket for the best seals
(waterpump, oil pump, oil pan, rear main, intake mani, tb, thermo housing)

and have never had a leak to date...

i just bought me a tube of the right stuff it came to 19 bucks but atleast i know it wont leak and you get alot for the money the tube is pretty big
