Thermal exhaust to GT spec downpipe

Does anyone know if the thermal cat back will bolt up to the apexi GT spec downpipe or am I going to need to doing some modding? Sorry I have a 2g GSX

They dont bolt up.The Thermal flange is made to fit factory cat so you need to get 2 bolt flange and 2" long 3" pipe and weld it to Thermal pipe,that's what I did.

thats what I figured because I have an apexi N1 right now and it came with that reducer pipe that fits the factory cat. thanks

hate to bring this thread back from the dead, but, i do have a question. I just recieved my thermal system and i am aware that i will have to cut out the small section of 2.5'' pipe and get a piece of 3'' to make it match my downpipe... So, two things:

1.) what is the best place to buy a 3'' flange/ 3'' stainless steel pipe

2.) why is the flange that would typically bolt to the cat on an angle?
