I read the post by Tim about The Glen on May 10th and 11th

I was there with my '99 GS-T. My brother took some video, which I edited and threw some music to. I'll put the link at the end of this. I don't have an in-car camera mount yet. I was just signed off solo at this event (2nd time at Glen), so I really didn't need a camera yet.
The only issue I had, was that my Wilwood brake rotors expanded enough from heat to start milling out the caliper on the drivers side ! This was an error on my part, since you have to decide how far to shim the caliper from the rotor. I got greedy for pad surface I guess. A quick shimming after the first run fixed the problem. I thwarted knock by running 100 octane, and on the second day I turned on the water injection (3gph). I wish I ran that the first day ! It didn't use that much of the tank at all, and the car ran like a monster. EGT's were lower, and water temps crept much slowly up. I need to add a larger radiator, or rid the FMIC like Tim did. I was thinking of putting a 11x7x1" radiator where the SMIC would go, and use the 3/8" connections that would normally go to the oil/liquid cooler. They are currently blocked off. Thoughts on the heat ejection I would get from that would be appreciated. I ran 15-17psi boost for safety, and the car survived the two days and 400mile round trip drive. A dyno tune before going to the glen, let me know where my A/F was. I ran it richer than 11.5:1 somewhere around 11.
I was pleased to be signed off solo, after only two days of experience (one in october and May 10th). My head barely fit out of the car after the compliments my instructor gave me. I've never done 1/4 mile racing, and I never plan to. This is just too much friggin fun!
I passed every car in my group (white) except a newer 911 Turbo. Yeah 4wd and 2 turbos are slick. In the video you can see him either always ahead of me, or passing me. After actually holding him off (for a short time).... later in the pits the instructor of that 911 came to me and asked what the heck was powering this eclipse ! Well let me see.. Does EVO III 16g mean anything to you ? Guess not. Never mind. 100 octane and let's leave it at that. It was cool to see Tim and Mark there again. That is the only other DSM that was there. Where are all the EVO's ? The GS-T is awesome on an open course like this. My gut feeling is that if I had the same everything and AWD it would be SLOWER. The quaife let's me pull out of the turns nicely. See you guys later this year at THE GLEN !
This is a free link, so there are some ads and whatnot. If you wait out some timer or whatever there is a 100mb video I put there.
