My car is probably worth 4kish. I wouldn't sell it for that much though. Just got a new paintjob and a cf hood. Looks way f*cking pimp. Get compliments about everyday I drive it. I think I would have a hard time selling it for 6k.

I had a guy offer me $6000 for my car as is.
I pu$$ed out.

Sure, you can say your car is worth 20k to you, but no buyer is going to pay 20k for a 2k car. Let's try to be somewhat realistic here people because in reality, it's unlikely that you'll even get blue book value for your car, regardless of whether or not it has 10k or more in modifications.

Tell ya what, set up a poll and see who thinks my car is worth BOOK or LESS (there are a NUMBER of cars on here you could also insert in place of mine). I think you may be surprised. Are you gonna get back all of what you put into one these. 99.9% of the time, no. Of course not. It's the price you pay. Does that mean no matter what you've got into your car it's only worth book value or less. Excuse me, but FUC* NO it doesn't. It in no way means you won't be able to get well over "kbb". You don't want to pay it, FINE. Go drop your own $30k into one and best of luck to ya. Some might find it nice to not have to start from square one w/ every car they pick up. Personally I've done both. My last one I did almost everything to w/ my own money ($12k+). It was an incredible "test bed". I learned a shi*load w/ that car (oh, and btw, fyi it was a 91 Talon AWD and I got $7500 for it when I let her go!). This one I happened to pick up w/ a good bit of what it has already done. My plan, take it to the next level (I've already put over $3k+ into it in the last 6mo). Damn, you know what, whatever, why am I bothering even telling you this...
, lowered 1.5". thanks alot, steve
