Sounds bad ass! I wish I where in your shoes right now! I wouldn't change a thing. Sounds like you have done your homework. I want that exact turbo kit dude. I hope you get that because I want to know what you think of it before I fork up the money for it. The only thing I would have to say is one minor problem I had with the ingalls front (rear works great) if you drop your car alot, which you shouldn't be too low with the eibachs, I can't get the camber straight because if you bring out the camber any more in the front the control arm hits the inner fender! Real pain in the ass. SPC makes an adjustable ball joint that's supposed to fix this problem thats what I have to buy next cause the tires went to hell in a couple months. Every thing else looks great I will keep in touch to see how things go! I want to hear about the AGP mostly! Looks great and have fun most of all :thumb: :dsm:

Oh yeah and definitly get the 92 eclipse gsx for 300, if it's built before may. Make sure it really does have the 6 bolt. That 6 bolt is the investment of a lifetime! Keep the motor and part the rest of the car out. You will make so much money! Just ask anyone on this site you will be overwhelmed with the responses you get. If you don't buy it I will!

ya that sound perfect its about what i did. only thing i could say is try maybe agp or prostreet fmic. other then that it sounds great man have fun trust me that set up kills

did you ever see that guy thats sitting on the side of the road, or getting a tow truck home from the track.....dont be that guy.

get the 6-bolt.

Thanks alot for all you replys. I have a few questions though, why should i got w/ 720 instead of 660? aren't the 720 kind of over kill? also how can I make shure the 93 eclipse is 6 bolt? thanks

93 does not come with 6 bolt, its a 7 bolt so for get about that, only 90 through early 92 are 6 bolts, i think 660s would work ok but 720 will give you more room to work with and more timing and fuel to keep knock down,

and was this a joke??? i hope so, ignore that

diferential gears and custom traney
there $3500

Sounds like good mods you're putting on. My suggestions: FMIC, something to control the a/f like SFAC (not sure if you have that listed), go with the 720 if you can, watch for the potential boost creep, bigger brakes!.

Other stuff too: upgrade your oil lines, clutch cable and brake lines, it'll help, trust me on this (plus it's fairly cheap).

Don't go any lower than the recommended drop of eibach, you'll making way too much power and you can't effectively launch your car if it's too low.

no its not i ran that setup and a 60 trim set up and it was all good, but i would recommend building like im doing

im sorry, not trying to argue but i find it hard to believe that a stock 4 cylinder motor can handle 420 horsepower...i could be wrong, but its just hard for me to believe that

maybe you should do a little bit more research, there are a few stock 4-bangers that can do it, and a 4g63 is one. Not much more than that though I belive.

I think you should you should get a beater car with some of that money. Like a civic.

Just telling it how it is, that is what I like to see! :thumb:

Now that I have had my good laugh for the morning

Come on lets not poke fun. It is clear he has not been around the DSM crowed for long.

We all know the 420a NA w/auto powered Plymoth Laser is the beater of choice ;)

I dunno I looked around and it seems that many people run the 50 trim or bigger on stock blocks and as long as they stay with in resonable boost levels and tunning isn't horriable them seem to do allright.

I allready have a beater car a 94 nissian sentra , haha. Don't worry i know i'm going to break pletty of stuff but hey thats a price we all pay don't we?

bigger injectors definately.. 660cc would be sufficient but I would go bigger for more tuning potential in the future. you might as well get fic 850cc instead of 720. they're basically the same price and you will never have to upgrade again. All fuel injectors idle well on dsmlink so theres no such thing as overkill. Plus many of the guys use them and will be able to help you tune your settings. i.e. global.. and all that fun stuff. internal engine work would be a good way to keep you from being "that guy" on the side of the road..

I have a 99 gst. Mods so far are S-AFC II, upper/lower IC piping, K&N intake and QTP exhaust cutout. I have about 800-900 left to spend....what should i do? At first i was thinking about a FMIC....but now I'm thinking a turbo upgrade would gimme more bang for the buck. Id like to go with a big 16g (with a manuel boost controller), but will that be ok with no fmic? I heard somewhere that anything bigger than a small 16g, you'll need a AFC and FMIC. However a friend of mine has been running a 16g for a while and i dont even think he has a AFC (and no fmic). What do you think would be the best way to go? :thumb:

My friend sold his car for 6 grand and picked up a 92 GSX for 2100. He was 4000 dollars to spend on performance parts and he doesn't know exactly which parts for his car are best. He's looking for the following parts, and anything else that can be bought with extra money:

Catback Exhaust- preferably slant firing.
Intake kit- he likes the blitz.
downpipe

Any other mods that can/should be purchased with extra money after that, he is basically clueless to. The car already has Boost and Oil Pressure gauge, and a GReddy Turbo timer. Any more suggestions on parts would be very helpful. Thanks guys.

OMG r u serious...i have a nt but im about to buy a 1g awd...here it goes

aluminum intercooler piping
front mount intercooler
manual boost controller
apexi safc
3" turbo back exhaust
550cc injectors
255lph walboro fuel pump
k&n air filter
port and polish the intake manifold
port and polish the throttle body
big 16g turbo

the list goes on...but thats what im going for

Are you going to be able to accomplish all that with 4 thousand dollars though? I'm really just looking for suggestions on good quality parts for a good price.

I forgot to add, he's also looking to go with a set of lowering springs. Lowest possible, leaving a good ride and good quality. Thanks guys.

Look at the tunning guide for more help. Also will he be doing the work himself? I would first make sure the car is running perfect before you spend money on mods.
