Right, but he looks like a rich douche who doesn't know anything about cars who just lost to a passionate gearhead that put lots of work into his/her car.
No. He looks like a guy who knew enough to buy a extrodinary car and due to his financial situation probably makes more money per hour doing what he does than he could possibly save putting work into a car.
Let me ask this another way. If you made $100 per hour ($200, $1000, or $5000 per hour) would you buy a ferrari or work an a DSM (or mustang, etc). Lets say you wanted a modified car. Would you work on it yourself or would you buy something like a 911 Turbo and then just drop it off at 9ff?
The people I know with ferraris can buy anything they want. Really getting beat by a DSM wouldn't concern them.
Kind of off topic but if you want a car that is scary fast. try a Cayenne Turbo. It is amazing taking a 5000lb car and hitting 0-60 in the high 4s. You really feel the mass. I drove a friends. I was at about 80kmh in a traffic circle and it was "right now".
