Curious I'm getting my car tuned soon with the black box ecu. I want to know more about two step and anti lag with the black box and how those two things work exactly. I'm a noob so sorry if I sound dumb but how do they work?

Bothare to help keep the turbo spooled for boost immediately. Anti lag is the stationary rev limiter. As it says stationary, you're not moving. 2 step is for moving to keep the turbo spooled up. Please correct me if I'm wrong

Two step is to keep the RPMs up at a standing start. It will sound as though it's sputtering and will keep the engine at a preset speed while thou have the gas pedal floored and the clutch pedal depressed. It is used for launching from a standing stop.

Anti-lag is a different thing, that is to help keep the boost when you shift. I believe there are a number of different variations of how it is done. If I remember correctly, true anti-lag is used on rally cars and is pretty abusive on the engine. Under certain conditions raw fuel will be dumped into the intake during a specific valve positions so that it burns straight through to the turbo causing a lot of heat energy to keep the turbo impeller spinning.

I know that I'm leaving out some fine details. I sure someone else can embellish a little better.

i was close LOL. stationart rev limiter sounds nice. set it up right and itll have a nice popping sound. Thanks for correcting me to

That's a ballpark view. I'm planning to install a Dynarc Arc-2 ignition and it offers adjustable 2 step limiter.
