Yep, just completely lost 2nd 4th and Reverse today. Drove my car to emissions (passed, yay!) and then drove it home, and then didnt have 2nd 4th or Reverse. 2nd gear goes in normal, but its just neutral, then 4th and R just dont stick at all, no tension getting the stick into the gear, but it just falls back into N. Anyone know a good place for me to get a rebuilt/new transmission? Thanks guys!

have you checked your linkages? I had a friend that had the same problem and one turned out to be snapped. they could also be streched. just thought i would give some advice

Yea I called a local performance shop and they suggested adjusting the linkage, so i little by little adjusted it, all the way in, then all the way out, and nomatter where it was it didnt fix the gears. Would I notice broken linkage easily? I have the center console out already

no you wouldn t notice them easily but if already "adjusted" the linkage to no effect, start looking into a new tranny. Alot of people have given alot of different options for you to go with here. Now all you have to do is to do some research and figure what type of tranny you will need for the set up you plan on accomplish. Good Luck :thumb:

I decided to just restore this car and make it my daily driver, so im getting a remanufactured trans and then ill look around for a decent AWD dsm for a drag car :)
