In my searches, I never found a problem quite like this one, and before I throw hoards of money at the car, I'd like some advice.

I removed my UIPC to paint it black, and upon reinstallation (done correctly), the car refuses to idle properly. It jumps from trying to die to 2500 rpm and will not settle down. I unplugged the MAS, and it held around 1500, and then runs like crap with the MAS plugged in. I sprayed electrical cleaner in the MAS and in its plug, no difference. NOTHING changed at all when the IC pipe was out, I plugged up the IC and TB openings, no changes to ISC or anything like that.

Anybody know why it would suddenly run like this, when before it ran perfectly?

Thanks in advance,

Ari

check to be sure that you didnt accadentley unplug or damage a wire to the IACS.idle air control silonoid.it sits to the bottom left of the TB.this unit controls your idle air volume.

Nope, the IACS is fine and unmolested.

Really desparate here, I make a deal to sell the car and NOW, at random after nothing changed at all, it won't even run.

Re-sprayed MAS with cleaner, no change. Checked all connections that I may have touched, no problems there.

Other ideas on what it might be?

Update:
I'll be able to get a compressor (can't drive car obviously) so I can finally do a BLT.
