tempted to get the cams and water injection

Ok so I just got some back pay uncle same owed me. And I am real tempted to get the cams and water injection I have been wanting so long.

Thing is I am at a little bit of a cross road. I have about $1000 to spend on the car (I got more back but thats going to pay of some debt) sooo here is what I am looking at doing, if any of you see something I dont really need could you let me know so I dont waste money?

The only BC cams I can seem to find are 272/272 or more agressive combo's I can't seem to find a set of 264/264 I don't REALLY want the 272/272 since I want to keep as much low end as I can and as fast of a spool as possible hence the E3 turbo.... but at there price I think I can manage with the 272 if I can't locate the 264's

It all looks good. But I would do the DIY project for the motor mounts on the RRE site. I have those similar inserts all the way around. If the car was my daily it would drive me nuts, everything shakes and rattles.

The harmonic damper crankpulley isnt needed in my opinion unless you are stroker.
I think the stock one works fine. The motor mounts inserts are good to have but i think
you could get away with some good ol window weld like I have.
Everything else looks good.

I have prothane motor mounts and they are not that bad.
Do you really need the Damper?

Well I didn't think I "needed" the fluidamper but as old as the stocker is I was thinking maybe I could con myself into thinking it was a "reliability" mod .

I am also considering just new OEM engine mounts, not sure how much of a difference they would make over my old rotted stockers. I will check out the site you posted though 1G

I was really wanting water injection too, but I can't really afford it right. BUT if I dont get the fluidamper damper I can! Now I was only planning on buying the cams and then water injection but I figured while im in there mid as well get all the other goodies.



Ok so I eleminated the Engine mounts and fluidamper so thats about $780, so that leaves me with enough for water injection! YAY! Now just which kit??? I have read so much about them, but dont know which to go with.

I would like to know which is the best kit NOT which is the best bang for the buck kit. And would a 5M injector be to large, to small, or just right?
