So i just got my new motor in, did the few first start ups, let it warm up . And noticed that my the engines temperature gauge was not working. It just stayed as if the car was still cold. So i connect DSMLINK and i noticed that i am getting 180f temps. and its logging them just fine.
While i was putting the motor back in the car, i hooked up all sensors that matched with everything else

Any idea why the gauge is not working?

Thanks in advance

the first thing i would do is cheack all my wires and fuse's and if that dosent work i would ether run the gague on dsm link or buy a new temp gague.OOO and check and see if the wires close to the plug are worn out they brack lose very easy :thumb::dsm::talon::laser::rocks:

For the 1g's theirs a independent sensor just for the dash temp meter. I don't know if the 2G's have something like that. Try checking the water outlet neck, to see if there is any more sensors or what not that is unplug

As far as i can tell. On the water neck there is only one sensor coming out of there.
If i unplug it, it stops logging on dsmlink. But once i connect it again. it starts logging again.
Is there another sensors on the 2g for the gauge in the dash? It was working just fine when i took off the other engine.
which fuse would be? in the enginebay or inside?
