tc draining?

i topped off a bottle of tranny fluid the other day hoping that after i changed it last it was just a little low. The tranny shifts into gear faster now, down to 3-4 secs compared to 15-16... but i was wondering wtf is causing it still. I start the car wait 30 seconds and pop the tranny into reverse, car doesn't move an inch for 5 or so seconds and then finally starts to roll and gets into gear. Could this be due to the tc draining after the car sits for a while, it only takes time to shift when the engine is cold or luke warm but not warm warm or hot warm. Anyone else had issues with this or any ideas?

Try to run some Slick 50. It worked magic in my old auto fwd.

Well it's over a year later and the problem still hasn't escalated or gone away. I did manage to locate a inline filter on the tranny cooler line, im thinking that maybe when my transmission was rebuilt that the mechanic forgot to change that filter or flush out the cooler so they're slightly clogged? Is that a possibility as to cause my issue, and if so will this issue eventually lead to a fried pump?
