1G TB elbow gasket leaks

I went to put on my UICP and 2g TB elbow, and now it just leaks out of the TB elbow gasket? I My tried gasket sealant, double gasket, the hump/notch is facing the rear, any ideas? It seems like no matter what it leaks. Help?

Gasket + a bit of rtv sealant should would great

Get brand new gaskets and ensure both sealing surfaces are clean, flat, and dry. You should not need RTV sealant. If you still choose to use it, the copper spray would help keep them in place with re-installation.

I will make sure both surfaces are flat etc

Are you letting the rtv fully cure for 24 hours? It should seal up fine with a gasket and a thin layer of rtv, unless the flange is really warped.
