I have just bought a 1992 Talon TSi FWD. It only has 64,000 on the car. Lately whenever I've been driving there is a tap coming from the motor. It does it all the time, no matter if it has just been started or whether its been drove for a long time. The oil is at the level it should be and I put the right kind of oil in it. Does anyone know what is causing this or how to fix it? My dad thinks that my valves need adjusting. PLease respond and give me some advice :talon:

umm.. Lifter tap, or tick?
about 30,000 DSMers suffer from this horrible desease..
Search around for it, there's a lot about it, and possibly the cure..
