First of all.....IGNORE the GT-R thing, thats how the car came

I picked up this shell a couple months ago
its was FREE, so I didnt even think twice, the shape I got it was a disaster, many would have walked away.
But I saw potential, and I knew I had to bring a Talon back to life.

I will be posting pics of progress, and please, dont flame me because I installed Eclipse bumpers, I love the Talon front end, but havent found any.

Soon, il get the right ones

BTW, the car didnt have a Rear End, I just didnt take pics when I received it.
It didnt have any doors, fenders or hatch

Well, after getting some more parts from the classifieds, and cleaning the car a little.....this is how it looks like

I had two spare wheels from my 350Z, so I slapped them in for now

BTW, before I get flammed on ...I didnt write "Project Bike Killer"....a friend of mine did...I have a goal in mind, but its not to chase after bike like an idiot

My goal is a street reliable car, that i can put stickys and take it to the track

More to come :hellyeah:

its coming along slowly but surely.
good luck, i have nothing but a positive outlook on the outcome.

Looking good there I think ill be watching this one:hellyeah: love seeing talons comming back from the dead :D

Excellent another one saved! people are just beginning to realize just how few TSi & TSi AWD were actually produced between 1989-1998. Many ended up like this one, left for dead and in most cases scrapped. If you need any parts or have questions and I can help just let me know. It looks like a 2Ga Talon and I have access to 2 AWD parts cars. Larry

Thank you guys, I appreciate the positive comments......and yes it is a 2GA, its a 1995

IROcanvanger: Il get in touch with you later on, so I can see what parts you have. il PM you later, or contact me at [email protected] and let me know what parts you have

Again, I appreciate the the kind words from you guys

its come a long way with a longer way to go still! but great job so far

^^...you said it, I figure 1 1/2 years to 2 years before is running and completly done....I really want to take my time with this one....I dont want to half-ass it

I hope you follow through with this car. I saved my car from the scrap yard and ppl parting it out. I hope you just do the same. You'll be happy with an AWD platform, trust me and many others that will agree... I give you the best of luck and if you need parts, I'll give them to ya. Depending what it is,LOL.. Good luck bro

^^....thanks bro, and yes, I'm committed to finish this til the end, I see this as one of my personal goal in life, one that I can later look back in the old pictures and say that i've accomplished bringing one of my favorite cars back to life

and yes, il contact you later on, I need some parts...thanks again for the offer

Wow its impressive already. Im in the same boat everytime dad helps me twist a wrench I hear the words Mother Effn mitchy bitchy hehe. Hes always talking about how I should have walked away from the project a year ago.

Good luck and keep us posted !

hey!, the car is identical to mine. i started with a 95 awd eclipse that was a theft recovery with the word "recovery" dosent help.cause it was less than a shell. and it was white, and i found all the 2gb red body parts. if i didnt see the trunklid being blue, i would of started flaming you on how you posted pics of mine.
good luck with it and i see you felt like me when you first looked at it LOL(what am i getting myself into?). well i am on week #5 of putting it back togheter, and now im finally ready for a paint job once my rebuilt engine is installed. so just be patient, and the parts are still easy and cheap if you look around on craigslist. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

Thanks dude......LOL....what are the odds huh?.......Im actually starting the body work to get ready to paint in two weeks or so.....Il be posting pics of the paint and body process......good luck on your project also
