Talon front wing conversion 96 to 97/98

I used the search feature but couldnt quite find the answer im looking for, so here I am!

I have the 96 wing, and am purchasing a 2gb wing. My question is, should I go ahead and get a new hatch? Or will the holes in my current hatch be able to be patched and painted over to look like it came from the factory with no problems?

2GB Talon wing? You'd be better off getting the whole hatch. There are very large holes that you would need to drill in your 96 hatch to fit the new spoiler.

I would put it in a local body shop to have that done, and the wing installed.

Im more worried about the holes left behind by the old wing.

Yes, there will be holes left behind. Four (maybe five) holes from the mounting points and one large hole for the 3rd brake light wiring. They will need to be welded shut, filled with body filler, and painted over.

Any idea how much that will run me $ wise?

My hatch is already so beautiful, not a scratch on her
and itd suck to have to replace it
