Anyone interested in some TALON brake decals....an example of some of the work is pictured below. I'm trying to get this guy to make them as a regular product as he does good work, and I think these will look good with my red painted calipers and slotted disks.

Thanks,

caleb

and pricing I've seen is very reasonable.....Hes special making some for me at 17 bucks for 4, shipped, but the ones he always makes go for less.

Hey whats up guys,

My name is Jason and I own JVD Graphics. Right now I focus solely on creating caliper stickers for cars. I started out with Mitsubishi Eclipse, and ventured to Galants, Nissan 350Zs, Infiniti G35s, Honda S2000s, Lamborghini's, Lexus IS/GS/LS300s, 400s, and 430s, Dodge Avengers/Stratus', and plenty more.

I have an awesome reputation with over 4 years of the best customer service on most message boards, including Club3G (eclipseforums.org)

I ship immediately upon receiving money which is my advantage over my competitiors, there is no down time or processing fees/extra time. Also, I keep constant contact with all of my members. I am online at all times of the day and night.

I like the idea, but I don't see how it'd work in practice. It seems like the decals would disintegrate after the first hard braking when the calipers heat up. That's why caliper paint has to be high-temp, and why anytime you see logos on calipers, they're engraved in...

You paint the calipers, put the decals on, then use high temp clearcoat over them....they last as long as your paint will and look the same the entire time, plus it makes the high temp paint have that glossy look to them. Lots of people have these and they've been used for a while now....just use the high temp clear over them and they'll be fine.

I know a couple people in the local camaro club (F.A.S.T.) with camaro/transam decals that have had them for at least a year.....I think one guys going on 2 with his transam ones....no problems yet, and they look the same as the day he put them on.

Lets just say Ive had my decals on for four years now, and they are still in perfect condition. My paint on the otherhand is not in such good condition, yet these stickers are still holding up strong!

eh to each their own....I just want to do something besides spend a grand or so on a big brake upgrade yet, but I wanna do something more than just paint them....I don't know I think they're pretty cool when you do em right.

I was planning on getting my calipers powder coated would I still be able to use the sticker in that scenario or no?

As long as the calipers are clean (and relatively smooth in that area) they decals will be fine... powdercoat/paint/polished/whatever.

So you would powder coat them first and then later on add the sticker correct?

Ya, its real simple guys. its just a sticker. You first paint the caliper, when it is dry, you put the sticker on. Simple as that.

Ok guys,

I am going to get these stickers made this weekend, so anyone that is interested please let me know what color you want. I am only gonna get a few sets made and see how it goes over with everyone before i buy in bulk. So anyone that is interested please post tonight and tomorrow (saturday) what color you want (silver metallic, white, or black. Can do any color but those are the colors I prefer to sell bc those are the only ones that sell) and I will add you to a list.

Can you do ones that say Mitsubishi? I do like the look of the ones that say Eclipse, but I have a Talon, so Mitsubishi would be better.

IF you have an talon and put anything that says mitsu on it you'll get people asking
you about it and making fun of you. Most people out there dont know you are more mitsu then a n/t 2g eclipse, so they think you're made by eagle. DSM'ers will get it but just letting you know be prepared for some looks or laughs.

Kinda like when you see a beat up CRX w/ the acura label on it and honda trimmed off. Except we actually are the same as the mitsus but u get my point.

Your car, your call though.

Thats why the Eclipse conversion is in the works. :thumb: Even if it wasn't, I wouldn't care.

Ive got the "TALON" stickers ready to send.

Ive got two sets of white and a set of silver left.

Please let me know if you are interested. I ask that if you buy them, to take pictures and please post em so everyone can see how they look.
