Anyone know how to get ahold of these guys? I ordered a billet steel clutch fork form them 2 weeks ago and I haven't got it yet. They took my money on paypal the day after I ordered it too. They wont respond to my emails, and there is no phone number on the website. My car has been down 2 weeks cause I'm waiting for the damn thing. Wondering if anyone has a phone number I can use to get ahold of them before I have to file a complaint with paypal. I don't want to do that but I really need my clutchfork, and I can use the money to get an OEM one so I can at least have my car back

I feel your pain Josh, I've been waiting over 4 weeks for the active rear toe elim. kit. I never get any replies to my emails. Unfortunately paypal has a 30 day limit on filing complaints, I'm 1 day too late.
I'm tired of seeing my car sitting on jackstands while I wait for these parts.
Good luck!!

Chris

BTW, this post will probably get locked. I don't know of any way to contact them by phone. You can try PM'ing Martin at dsmtalk, I think his user name is Taboo.

I'm in the same boat guys. It's been 1 day short of a month that i've been waiting on my ####in clutch fork. I've been basically spamming every e-mail address I know of for the last week trying to get ahold of this guy. All I can say is be consistent, it wasn't until yesterday when he read my SECOND PM on DSMTalk that he decided to reply, with a lame excuse of course. "Sorry about the delay in shipping. We've had a string of bad luck lately with materials." So a long story short, he hasn't even SHIPPED my order after a f*cking MONTH!! He WILL ignore you until you become a nuisance.

I don't know what a paypal complaint will get me, but I was thinking about filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. If a few of us do it together, they might act a little more promply to resolve the issue.

file with the bbb but paypal has a thing, usually..where your insured for your package... if you dont get it you can get your money back...just check out their links or in the help section or something. ive heard alot of bad things about taboospeedshop and will never order from them.

See that's the part where most people are really screwed. Like my situation, this clutch fork is not something I can really go without being i'm putting in a heavy duty pressure plate, and need the extra strength. We are at the mercy of this guys convenience, that is, whenever he isn't chastising people on DSMTalk for not knowing the "perfect clutch setup", and finds it convenient to send our sh*t. He's already got our money, so why SHOULD he be in any hurry? This is really getting to me.

Taboo Speed Shop = :thumbdown :barf:

taboo is a good guy. but the more you piss him off, the longer itl prob take for your stuff to get in. hes only one guy afterall. just shoot him a pm and ask him whats up, im sure youll get an answer.

I have ordered from Martin a few times with no problems whatsoever. Maybe you should ask if he has the parts in stock before you place an order.

Just my $.02 :thumb:

I haven't "pissed him off". I understand the whole concept of speak softly but carry a big stick. Like I said above, I've sent him 3 PM's and finally "got my answer"; It's been a MONTH, and it hasn't left his shop yet.

Yes you have a point, however I didn't feel the need to ask, considering the site, right above the product description mind you, said IN STOCK.

Sorry if i've killed the mood here guys, I didn't mean to get on here and start ranting. Thanks for the suggestions nonetheless. :dsm:

Odd, i got my extended slave rod within 10 days of ordering. Like others have said, hes a one man band, not really running a business but more of a hobby thing to help out enthusiests. I know it sucks waiting on parts, but sometimes thats how it goes with our vendors.

Should have just ordered one from TRE! Great Service and Great Response on ANY problem!

TRE makes a heavy duty clutch release fork? I didn't see it on the site. Are you thinking shift forks which are inside the actual tranny? I'm gonna look into it a little more.
