T3T4 manifold?

actually the caravan nonjet valve replacements are very good heads. Stock they are 1.5" round.

I had one ported out to 1.75" (yes a full 1/4") bigger on the intake, and 1 5/8" on the exhaust side.
Even with the stock sized valves, the CFM increased by 53.

yeah but will it crack

And that would mean another 1200 which I do not have. $800 for the manifold, 200 for the housing and 200 for the new shaft and rebalance. Not to mention the increased lag...

Understood, but you wouldn't need to get a new shaft/wheel. just get a T4 flanged housing that fits your wheel. And you can re-sell your T3 turbine housing to recoup some of the cash.

Considering that over 1000 'Quest /Starion owners are running them... I think they are good.

And quite a few over the 450 HP mark...
Everything will crack eventually.. that is an ambiguous statement.

If you wanted to do a cool rwd setup I would suggest the evo 8 manifold and turbo.

It will bolt onto a dsm head and the turbo will face the front of the car.

Not to mention the turbo will make more power than most to4b's and will spool nice.

Right now I MIGHT be able to get 100 bucks for the housing. But I also posted a link to a site that I found that takes care of 90% of mu problems.

1. The manifold is basically all schd 40 steel. Very durable, and long lasting.
2. They send the turbo flange mount and spacer unwelded. That allows me to mount the turbo I have inverted without issue.
3. The cost is very reasonable, only 250ish for everything.
4. All the flanges are 1/2" thick.

I have no problem using that kit what-so-ever. The only thing that even kinda bugs me is how to do the external wastegate mounting, but some more tubing and cutting.. done.

So by this lucky find, I can get away with redoing the DP for 20-40 bucks, I might have to make new oil feed and drain lines (20-25 for the hoses-reuse my fittings) and 250-270 for the manifold kit.
That seems alot more reasonable to me... barely over 300, or well over 1000... hmmm... what is a poor a$$ mofo like me to do...

but the evo is not a T3 manifold...
I am not about to sell a turbo I spent nearly 600 on to buy another manifold and turbo.

right now my T3/T4E will do 570 CFM if not a little more... (57 trim) and see boost relitively quick with the .48 hot T3.

I could have stayed with the stock DSM type stuff because the turbo can simply be turned around, but I layed out the plan to start with a T3/T4 to keep costs down and parts kinda cheap. I was going for the HP route from the beginning, and while yes a 20G can do soem things, I would be looking at a 60 trim to get anywhere close to what I am aiming for. My hybrid got me there much cheaper.
