your best bet for this info is to go to www.honda-tech.com theres quite a few PT dealers on there as well as precisions sales manager...nothing against anyone here but for any non-dsm specific turbo ide check out honda-tech in the forced induction section for info...theres lots of people running big turbos with 2.0l displacment or less that have great luck with them

This really isn't the best place to ask a question like 'what turbo will get me into the 9's'. That is best handled by calling up your favorite turbo vendor and going over your setup and deciding which route to take.

We've seen two guys running near the same times use two completely different setups, and absolutely hate the other guys setup after using it.

I have a custom builder lookin into what is best for me. But I also like the advise of some ppl on here;)

The percision turbos really have me intrested. Anymore info on
them:confused:

Ahhhhhhhh:( I want that full-race manifold so badley. Anyone here using any of there stuff

we have one..... on of the cars we work with has a 62-1:shhh:
let me say this. holy top end batman! good lord. I have been looking into the gt series alot for our shop cars. gt35/40/42 require a hell of a built engine but boy oh boy, he he he he.mmmmmmm scary fast. im personally going gt30/35 which should kick some ass! but notmany people make nor sell the 62-1, i think there are a few better over all choices to go with somethin like that.....

just my $.02.

p.s. with all due respect. i agree about the slamming, if you have a problem with certain people please aim your anger to them not the general board memebers;)

what stage hot side with what .ar are you using on the car? what motor with what compersion are you guys using? what would be your other choices if you had to stick with a t3 flange.

theres lots of choices for big power with a t3 flange now...the sc61 will make around 500whp...the sc63 will support near 550-600...and theres turbos even larger then that in the t3 exhaust platorm so unless its easy for you to switch to a t4 you should be fine with the t3...i would really reccomend calling precision or getting on honda-tech.com and PM a guy name Arturbo hes a authorized dealer and can point you in the right direction

I do agree with allwheelTSI on the 60-1 now that I have reviewed the compressor maps. The .82 with a stage 3 will be better.

I have always favoured a larger A/R to a larger wheel. Remember the HP guys have pumped out with a .48 so going to an .82 will be good. YOu can always upgrade to a stage 5 down the road too, thats no big deal.

I would still stick with the T3 idea however going to a whole new manifold is going to add to the overall cost and we can convert your wastegate flange to v-band for a 40mm or larger gate, thats cake.

I have not used the turbo you asked about but i did use a 60trim stage 3 with a .82a/r. By it self i did not like it. To laggy. But with the spray (75 shot) it was unreal. At 3k rpms i would floor it nitrous would hit and the boost would jump strait to 25 psi and sit there. The .82 a/r would not boost creep under nitrous. The .82 a/r is great with nitrous but bad with out unless you are running real high compression which i wasnt. I dont know what turbo i will go with next but it will be big and beeing assisted by nitrous and a 2.4 stroker i can tell you that. If you do try this set up out keep us informed on your results.

am I the only advocate of the T4 turbos?

I say if he wants to run 9s or what have you , money should not be an issue. With the T4 flang he is opened to a very wide variety of turbo choices. the only down side to those choices are the fact that those turbos are massive.

I personally will try a full T04B 60-1. Is that too big? Who cares, all I know it will be a wild ride.
