Besides the action element, how's the storyline? Do they develop it and make the story stronger, or just start throwing robots into the mix, fighting and blowing up shit?

Yeah it definitely did that, and also answered a bunch of questions. I REALLY did not like the ending. im not a fan of end of.....(ops almost gave it away):)

Special effects great, catch phrases funny as hell. The whole theater was laughing like crazy at some points. I fear that this move will go the way of alien after the second one. post apocalyptic movie's don't really do it for me. Water world, battlefield earth..ect all kind of the same thing. Unfortunately that's all that's left for the next one.

I didn't expect much from it. After seeing it, I thought it kicked ass. Nonstop action and I thought the storyline was great. It definately kept me interested throughout the whole movie. Ties together nicely with the first two.

Now I just need to get me my own personal terminatrix.OMG (that won't terminate me)

I just saw it last night. I found myself laughing more than I thought I would. Decent storyline--I was worried after I had heard some reviews, but the way a few things came together were interesting "twists". Pretty cool! Lot's of action (of course) and definitely a setup for T4. The only screwed up thing was the Cessna 152 doing 160 MPH. Yeah right. : ) Everything else was pretty cool.

I wonder when the 4th one will come out. I dont think they will wait another 10 years like they did between T2 and T3, cuz arnold is getting up there in age.

Well I saw it yesterday. I went into it not really knowing what to expect. T2 was such a great action movie, and I didn't want to try and compare T3 to T2. That'd be hard to live up to. What I was more concerned about was the butchering of the storyline. I was not disappointed.

The action of T3 was a given, I knew the special effects would rock and they did. The chick playing the Terminatrix did a great job. There were parts were her ambience as a Terminatrix added alot of suspense, she definitely pulled off the character. The same with Arnold, although its hard to compare this performance with T2, it was still quite good.

And now the meat of the movie, the story. This movie added to the storyline. The peices fit very well together, it made sense. But it is not for the small-minded. At first glance, if your going into the movie just looking for action and not paying attention to the finer details, you will not understand what James Cameron tried to do with this storyline. This movie actually touches on philosophical questions of destiny and ultimate control of your own fate. Not heavily, but it does give the feeling of an inevitability of the future, regardless if you know what it is or not.

Ultimately, I thought this was a great addition to the Terminator series. It provides great action and gives direction to the whole story.

I give it two thumbs up.

great movie!

how about the kidnap trauma guy.....that was funny as shit, don't know how many of you guys caught that....but if you rewatch the previous flick, you'll be like ohhhhh!...catch phrases were great.

I RECOMMEND IT!!

I was dissapointed. I just watched Terminator and T2 (on friends 135" setup). It lacked the punch, forethought and budget of both previous titles.

i tihnk the buget was pretty good, no? the 1st big scene, with the crane should have been called "lets take the biggest thing we can think of and break as much stuff as posible with it"

Yea, 3 had a GOOD budget, but 1 and 2 had a GOD budget. You really can't use that much CGI without losing the realistic feel, which Cameron was willing to spend $ to avoid. True, the crane was sorta cool, but too unbelievable to even be suggested (anyone know the top speed on a 20 ton crane?). The airbags in the Toyota did not go off when he rear-ended the Taurus. The Chevy Arnold drove into the clinic was initially up to the firewall in the wall, then when the She-bot awoke, the Chevy was past the bed into the wall. What's up with all the "country-side" shots? Why couldn't they afford city streets like T2?

well i saw it on tuesday the 1st...cough soutnern california is the center of the world and nothing happens anywhere else cough. all i have to say is...the chick was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOT
