t25 w/ front mount

A guy I know just stuck a huge frontmount on his t25'd eclipse. He is claiming that he sees gains but it just doesnt make sense to me. Can someone explain this to me as far as intercoolers and turbos go. Ive heard many a person say that frontmounts hurt more than help cars w/ stock t25 on.

Oh My goodness. This post is still going?... I never cleaned the sidemount. Then ag0ain, I got the front mount right after I got the car because I had the money at the time. Its all budget, in my opinion. If you have the money, get it out of the way so u move to the next step. Or you can pick a turbo up, run low boost, and then buy an intercooler.
