I had to take off the big 16g on my laser because the turbo had been involved in an accident and the compressor housing was hitting the compressor wheel. I am trying to put on a spare t25 off a 1g I have lying around and I cannot seem to find out what the thread pitch is on the oil feed inlet. Does anyone have this answer? I bought a m12 x 1.25 bolt and it doesn't seem to thread in.

1G's don't have a T25....they have a 14B.

The T25 oil supply doesn't use a banjo bolt, it uses a 1/4" flare-type metal line and fitting. It would be 1/4" line thread....nothing else will work.

A 14B's oil supply threads should be 12mm x 1.25 unless something's wrong with the threads.

Evo III's use the 12mm x 1.25 banjo bolt, the same as the 14B. All Holsets I've seen had a flange on top similar to the Garrett T3:

T25's have a flare fitting machined into the center housing so a 1/4" brake line fitting will thread right in, similar to this GT35R:

What's the correct sized flange in case my (potential) holset does not come pretapped? Would you recommend tapping it myself? I would much rather deal with a fitting than a stupid flange.

I know for a fact that a Garrett oil supply flange fits on the HX40 I have at my shop, as it's not tapped for a fitting either.

Personally, I think tapping it would be better....but if ANY of that metal gets into the center housing through the oil supply hole, it can do some serious damage. I would only attempt to do this if the center housing is completely disassembled and can be cleaned properly.

If the Evo 3 uses a banjo as well as the 14b, then it has to be a T25.
Okay, so now that we know its a T25, what are my options as far as oil feed is concerned?

So after playing around with a few ideas and a few tools, I found a solution. By using flared 1/4" compression fittings, and 1/4" brake line, everything will work getting oil from the head.
