T25 spools up quicker, but car letargic?

My engine has 158K miles on it , and it's due a rebuild.
I fixed the Idle Surge by changing the ISC, now the car acts weird again.
The T25 seems to spool up quicker, but the car got a little bit letargic??
I'm thinking boost leak?? I want to perform a boost leak test anyway...what do I need to do it?? I'm assuming the car has to be turned off, and somehow pump air in the turbo inlet..while listening for leaks? or how do you guys do it??
What else should I chk??

boost leak on a t25?? higly unlikely enless something tore or needs to be tightened.

Why would the turbo change the odds of having a boost leak. 9 times outta 10 the problem with a boost leak IS a loose clamp or a tear in the stock tubing. I would run a boost leak test and see what come's up. You need to pressurize the system and see where air leaks out.

Yes faster spool but less power sounds like a boost leak. Remember if the turbo cant put the air efficently into the engine, the engine cant make the exhaust to continue spooling the turbo and making power!

Yes stock boost.
