Hi Guys I have been reading a lot on the forums lately and it seems that everyone says that T25 will loose power after 5500RPM. My question is if I install a MBC and set at 14 15 psi will it HOLD to Redline or the boost will drop back down to 12 13.

anything after that point, it's just a nice little heater hooked onto your exhaust manifold and under your hood at 5500RPM. 15psi can be done, but your BOV will start to leak if you are still on the stock 2g BOV. It could very well be a leaking BOV for the reason your not getting full 15psi.

I do have a HKS BOV so does that mean it will hold 14 15 psi to redline or It will still drop to 12.

So when people say set to 14psi do they acutally meant to say SET IT to SPIKE to 14 or do they mean 14 PSI to REDLINE ?

It won't hold it. It'll fall back down to 11-12 no matter what. I ran my T25 w/a JOE P MBC and a 1g bov. I was running 19-20lbs, but once again that's only for about 500-750 rpm before it starts falling. BTW, I'm not debating that anything over 15 or so lbs is hot air, but it still makes more power.

It means that the maximum boost is set at 14 PSI. It should not go above 14 psi unless something is wrong with the wastegate. It can drop below 14 though, nothing can prevent that except a bigger turbo.

Spike is when boost shoots up because the wastegate can't open fast enought, but then falls to the set level. Creep is when the wastegate is just too small and as you approach redline, boost rises above the set level. Neither is good, and you can have either, or both. Or neither, if your car is set up correctly.
