I crawled under my car last night and I noticed at the end of the t-case where the drive shaft is joining with it there was an oil ring above it. I looked almost as if it were leaking and I must have been slinging the oil. Do you think they would cover it in the recall? Also I just bought the car a couple of months ago and dont have any of the recall papers for it. Do you still think they will do the recalls?

Legally they have to do it becuase it is a safety recall.

If they may try to jerk you around.

You should document the whole ordeal.

1st print the safety recalls from the NHSTA websight.

2nd go to the chrysler website and check for recalls using your vin. If you T-case recall shows on their website as not yet being performed, print that page.

3rd call the chrysler 1-800-853-1403, tell them you are in quiring about a recall. They will ask for your personal information so they have record in their system. They will advise you to take it to a deal and will help locate a dealer near you. They will also give you a file # to give the dealer as proof.

4th go to the dealer for the recall. If they jerk you around, go see the manager and politely explain it is a safety recall and becuase your life is at risk they need to do the recall.

5th If you get no where with the dealer, call chrylser again. They should be able to call the dealer and straighten it out. If not call the NTHSA and file a report and get a copy of the report.

Give a copy of all this documention to a family member and explain the problem to them...and if you ever get in a accident have them investigate the t-case....and sue chrysler for failing to perform the recall when requested

called dealer today and the guy said the recall has been done already on my car. I told him that it was a lifetime deal, but he said if it was it would show it on his computer. Where dod I start now?
