t-28 ?

okay my t-25 has in and out shaft play, so i decided to go for a t-28. i read on some other forums, where it will bolt up fine and some say it's not because it's a nissan turbo. will it fit or not is the question????

It is a Garrett turbo. Yes some nissans have a T-28, but they are also made for our cars too.

I think the ones on Nissan's have a t2 or t3 hotside, so that wouldn't bolt up to your stock manifold. There are a couple variations of t28s that will though.

T-28 is indicative of the compressor wheel. It can be put in many different configurations. The t-28 for DSMs is a direct bolt on replacement for the t-25.

It's a good, sound upgrade for a busted t-25. Look into Forced Performance for their big t-28. It's the best variant of the bolt on t-28 that exists for our cars. But it's not the cheapest out there.

HOWEVER, you would be better off, long term, in spending the money on a 16g of some kind. It will meet your power goals for a longer time period.
