how hard is it to replace the Syncro's in an automatic tranny?
I need to replace my reverse syncro. Any suggestions?

To the O.P. sorry for all the above. We shouldn't be mocking honest ignorance, we all were there at one time, but for basic repair questions you really should hit a manual first. It would have told you how to diagnose the cause of your problem and how to repair it, though it doesn't tell you how hard it is or how long it takes.

That said, unless you make more per hour than your mechanic charges you'll likely be better off spending your own time researching and fixing this with the added benefit of learning more about your car.
