hey guys i was just wondering what are the symptoms of a bad wastegate actuator.. just want to know cause i think i might have a bad one.. just want some info before i say i do because that will cause other people to lash out at me for being stupid(like what most people in this forum do).. would really appreciate some help.. thanks..

If it is stuck open then it will no build boost

is that the only symptom of a bad wastegate actuator or is there more...... could a bad wastegate cause your car to not build boost after a certian psi or certian gear....... thanks

Sure, that could mean the actuator is "bad," but technically, that's what its supposed to do. Perhaps it isn't broken, but just not adjusted to your liking.
