my stick wont go into 1st gear until i put it into 2nd then 1st i think its the sychro if i'm wrong feal free to correct me. how much would this be to replace?
 
Well, you might be right. However some cars have a small catch that wont allow you to downshift into much lower gears if your at high speed. Try shifting into 1st when your going about 10-15mph.
