Ill sum it up quick. Got rod knock on 1 engine, purchased new engine with 1700 miles on it. SHOULD I, or would you, swap the newly rebuilt head from the knocking engine, onto the rebuilt engine.

#1 head is cleaner + arp studs + have a chance to install a MLS gasket (cometic)
#2 head is dirty, probably stock gasket

Both have new valves with 3-angle on them
1 has new cam seals FOR SURE (#1) not sure about other head

I just thought Id get some opinions before I went ahead and did anythings. Personally I think I should swap but others are telling me different. The miles ont eh the first head since the rebuild are about.... 1000-1200 miles...

Thanks guys, let me know

im just worried about the surface of the head and block. it wont be fresh. not 0 miles fresh but 1000 miles fresh surface. i dunno. i think im gonna do it anyway.
