Swapping Bottom End - List of things I might also need

I haven't posted in a long time, as my car has been sitting on a lift for the past 24 months, but I recently spun a rod bearing, so its time to quit messing around and drop in a built bottom end.

I haven't decided on built 6 bolt vs. built 7 bolt yet, but thats not really the point of this thread.

Once I've got the motor out, and I've bolted the head back on to the new short block (with a new MLS HG and ARP studs of course), what else might I need or want to look into?

I know I'll need to replace all the engine gaskets, new water and oil pump, etc....but what else could/should I do with an engine on the stand and a nake engine bay?

- stainless steel fuel lines?
- remove A/C?
- wire tuck?
- paint engine bay?
- adjustable cam gears?
- kevlar timing belt?

Any other recommendations from guy who've pulled/swapped motors in their garage?

I don't need any more real major mods, everything's been replaced (cams, SMIM, tubular exhaust mani, turbo, plenty of fuel, FMIC - all mods in profile), I'm just trying to compile a list of stuff to do once the motor is out and I have access to the engine bay and the whole motor.

Any thoughts are welcome.

What motor are you swapping in? Built 2.0? Built 2.4? 2.3?
