well just in case you didnt guys know. i dont know how they do it exactly. but there is two fuel pumps on the 4x4 jeep compass and patriot. i dont know about others because i dont build them. there is one pump that pumps it tot he engine. and there is another pump on the opposite side of where it takes the gas out of the tank. the second pump just pumps the gas over to the other side. hope this gets your minds working :thumb:

It's called a scavenger pump.

Might as well build a surge tank.
 
from what i understand the reason our cars dont have them or at least mine? is because they didnt have the "technology" at the time. i could be wrong thats just what someone told me. but if its such a problem then why dont the aftermarket tanks come with one of these so called scavenger pumps in them? not trying to fight just asking because im a noob! :)
