can i take a 2.4 bottom out of a stratus and use my head and would i need a different transmission somebody told me it would be a direct swap but im not really trying to go spend some money and have it not fit up any help would be appreciated and could anybody tell me the best years

What year and type stratus? There are two 2.4's available. The sedans have the Chrysler 2.4. The coups have the Mitsubishi 4g64. As far as fitment of the 420a head to the Chrysler 2.4 I can not help there.

yes you can but its not a bolt in swap. You will need to fabricate a passenger side mount and get bigger injectors and rewire your injectors out rotate your cam magnet. There is a lot to this swap and you need to research it before you make any decisions.

some people have used the g4cs block from a 86-88 galant being it a 2.4L and the 4g63T head bolts right up to it. No modification needed.

I believe you can't being that you have the 420a

You two need to read the rules and pay attention to the forum you're in:
