Swap: 1G head into a 2G

OK, first off I did a search and I couldn't find anything in the tech articles.
I was wondering if anyone can tell me about this or give me a link to a site that talks about this. I know that it can be done, I just want to read up on it and print off the article or w/e so I can prove to the mechcanic that it can be done. Thanx
