2G Suspension refresh question

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

Guys,

would this kit have everything to rebuild the front suspension on a 2g awd?

I would steer clear of ebay kits. Unless you are just fixing the car to sell you will almost certainly be replacing several of the pieces from the kit within 1-2 years depending on how much you drive and how bumpy the roads are where you are at. You'll be time and money ahead to figure out which part or parts are bad and just get those parts. Preferably get a known name brand like Mevotech, Delphi, Moog, TRW, Ect.

@97egl man, thats some nice info! thanks a lot

Where can I buy those brands online?

What others brands are available if you can provide them so I can search

Since you are in south america I'm not sure if you can get parts from Rockauto.com but that is where I get most of my parts from. When you are looking on rock auto they rate parts by grade. I steer clear of anything listed as ecomomy grade and try to buy ones that are listed as "daily driver". A some brands make 2 grades of parts and you don't want their economy stuff because its not going to last.

As far as other brands ACDelco and Moog also make decent parts but they are not as good as they used to be and cost more than other brands so I tend not to buy those brands anymore.

@97egl I do live in central america but everyone here buys online parts in the US. We have plenty of freight forwarding services that offer physical addresses in Florida so we buy from Amazon, ebay, and any website around. It would be impossible to build any car without buying from the US market.

This country is certainly unique since in the past we could import JDM vehicles from Japan so we have people with awesome rides here. You gotta see the evo 3's and 6's around. :p

I will buy OEM if I can find them or order from our vendors.

Thank you for the info!
